Established since 1992, Apple Tree Lodge Music Tuition teach all styles of popular music and is an established RGT exam centre for Leicestershire, with 100% of pupils achieving a pass in their exams.

Whether you want to learn for fun or take grade examinations and gain qualifications, our professional and experienced tutors can help you realise your musical potential.

With dedicated teaching rooms, RGT & Rock School Grade exams are catered for from Preliminary to Grade 8 in Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Rock Guitar, Vocals, Music Theory and Ukulele (up to Grade 3)

Get UCAS points from Grade 6 upwards.

Thereafter, you can study for a RGT Teaching or Performance Diplomas such as DipLCM, ALCM, LLCM & FLCM

As well as providing tuition in Guitar, Bass, Vocals and Ukulele. ATL also provide courses in Banjo, Pedal Steel Guitar / Lap Steel, Songwriting and Sound Recording.

We teach all styles of popular music and can provide free use of instruments in lessons. Instrument rental is also available (subject to availability).

The minimum age we will teach is 6 years old and we have a parents waiting area - with all tutors CRB checked. We are also members of the Musicians Union.

Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am until 9:00pm, Saturday 9:00am until 12:00 noon and are closed on Sundays. There is private parking available for up to 5 vehicles.

I started playing the guitar on a self-taught basis. The problem was that I reached a level where from then on I could not seem to improve any further. That was why I decided to take professional tuition with Arthur. As a result I have become a more accomplished guitar player and have reached a level, which I could never have achieved on my own. My only regret is that I did not seek Arthur’s help sooner. On acoustic or electric guitar, if you are struggling to improve then I can highly recommend contacting Arthur James.
